Bangladesh reported 43 deaths from Coronavirus or Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

Some 8, 354 people have newly been diagnosed with the virus during the period.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed this information in a health bulletin on Tuesday.

In the last 24 hours, the daily test positivity rate in the country slightly declined at 20.03 percent.

According to the latest figures, the death toll from corona infection in the country stands at 28,670.

Some 10,800 Covid-19 patients recovered from the viral infection in one day last.

Bangladesh first reported Covid-19 case on March 8, 2020 while the maiden death on March 18 the same year.
